Their dedication to perfection is quite amazing but I miss all the
bracket making and CAD (cardboard aided design).
I do wonder how vibration resistant their PCBs will be as the
tracks look barely stuck to the substrate
My thought too. Given the few connections these could have been
prototyped in wire and then a cheap through hole PCB made up for the
final article.
Perhaps a CNC drill for mounting etc would have confirmed fitment before
transferring over to a PCB. I guess the learning curve for a PCB package
would have been too much for the duo?
Compared to what they went through making a CNC solder printer using a
mill, I expect learning KiCAD would have been much easier!
